Terms of Service

Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Relayo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Who can use Relayo
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to create a Relayo account.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in method (email + one-time code) secure. You’re also responsible for anything that happens under your account. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us at hello@relayoapp.com right away.
Acceptable use
Use Relayo for its intended purpose: coordinating tasks and errands with your household. Don’t use Relayo to:
- Do anything illegal or harmful to others.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse another person.
- Attempt to interfere with, hack, or disrupt the service.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the app in unauthorized ways.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Relayo Plus subscriptions and billing
The core Relayo app is free. Relayo Plus is an optional paid upgrade that adds commute reminders and other premium features. Plus is household-wide — one purchase covers both partners.
Pricing (subject to change):
- Monthly — $2.99 per month, auto-renewing. Charged at the start of each billing period and renews at the then-current price until you cancel.
- Annual — $19.99 per year, auto-renewing. Charged at the start of each billing year and renews at the then-current price until you cancel.
- Lifetime — $49.99 one-time purchase. This is not a subscription and does not auto-renew. It unlocks Relayo Plus for the lifetime of the Relayo service on your store account. Restorable on the same store account.
Prices are in USD. Local prices may vary and are displayed in the app at the time of purchase.
Payments, cancellation, and refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not by Relayo directly. We do not handle your payment card information.
- Cancellation — cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings (iOS) or Google Play Subscriptions (Android).
- Refunds — refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their own policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.
- App Store — if you downloaded Relayo from the Apple App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies.
Reminders are best-effort
Relayo reminders are provided “as is.” They depend on your device, network connection, notification permissions, and background app settings. Reminders may be delayed or missed.
Do not rely on Relayo for anything safety-critical, medical, legal, or time-critical. Relayo is a convenience tool for everyday household coordination, not a life-safety system.
Changes to the service
We may update, expand, or retire features over time. We’ll do our best to give you notice of significant changes.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Relayo is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Relayo and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service.
Termination
You can stop using Relayo and delete your account at any time (see /delete-account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the Relayo operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Changes to these terms
When we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Relayo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
